I love a casual get together with friends- especially when there is food! Game time or game night with friends is the perfect excuse indulge in some delicious snack food. And with March Madness well under way, I wanted to share one of my favorite bite-sized snacks! Especially since it is the perfect way to close out our week of celebrating Cauliflower!

Choose your ingredients and hot sauce wisely here- these bites get spicy real quick!

Serves: 4-5 Cook Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

·       1 head of cauliflower

·       1 cup of flour

·       1 cup of water

·        2 tablespoons of garlic powder

·        1 tablespoon of black pepper

·        Your favorite Hot Sauce! (I use Frank’s RedHot)

Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Cut the stem and leaves off the cauliflower and cut florets into bite sized pieces

  3. Place florets in a freezer size Ziploc bag (or a large mixing bowl)

  4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, water, black pepper and garlic powder

  5. Add flour mixture to the freezer bag with the cauliflower florets. Seal and shake until cauliflower are evenly coated in mixture

  6. On a large baking sheet (I put foil down first) lay down florets of cauliflower evenly dispersed.

  7. Bake for 20 minutes, remove from oven and loosen florets from tray. Bake for another 20 minutes.

  8. Remove from oven and evenly coat in your favorite hot sauce.

  9. Bake for another 10 minutes until hot sauce looks and feels baked in.

  10. Pair with celery, ranch, or as is; share and enjoy!
